Guest guest
Hello all. I'm sure, considering the sensuous nature of perfumery, that many of you, like myself, are very dominantly right-brained. As such, I am having a really hard time figuring out how to make a tincture that involves a weight measure with a volume measure. Normally, I just kind of wing it but this is a precious one and I don't want to screw it up. If I have 10 grams of a solid and want to make a 4% dilution in alcohol, how do I convert it? I have tried several online calculators, including the ones in the file section, but the only one that worked for me said that 10 g.weight is 0.351 ounces volume. Does that seem right? or does someone have a formula I could use. Thanks for any help. a very right-brained Terri in Lake, BC
