As some of the others said, yep, you can wear contacts any time really. I get 2 pairs every month and my optician told me to wear them for 6 days (sleeping in them), have a rest day, wear them for another 6 days, have a rest day then start again with a new pair. You could take a couple of carers with you (together or on separate occasions) to the shop, let the optician show them how to do it and let them have a go. That's what I did, then I was confident they were doing it right. Yes, I put them in a solution called " Complete " while they're not in my eyes, you have to keep them wet at all times. I use drops called " Blink N Clean " too, my eyes get a bit gunky. I don't know whether you can get the same solution where you live but your optician will tell you what's best for you. Guest guest
Hello Everyone, Is there anyone out there who could put me in touch, please, with a Specialist Health Visitor/Nurse who is undertaking a Safeguarding Children (Rapid Response) Role? This is a post that has been created in response to Children Act reforms to investigate sudden/unexpected deaths in infancy and childhood, to support the development of the child death rapid response and review process. I’d be very grateful for any contacts/ signposting! Many thanks,
