Guest guest
Check out some of the recipe documents in the club files section: /files/ Especially, Maggie's In2Nutrition pdf file and the " recipes.doc " that's near the bottom of the list. I also highly recommend trying Ruth's cottage cheese yumminess. I've become hopelessly addicted to it. It's totally replaced the cottage cheese, pineapple, mandarin oranges and macadamia nut concoction that I ate every day for a year or two. 1 cup cottage cheese 1/3 cup oats (uncooked) 1/2 cup frozen blueberries 10-15 almonds all stirred together and sweetened with splenda That's about 295 cals, 21g protein, 34g carbs (7 of which are fiber), and 9g of healthy almond fat. You could fiddle with the amounts to get the right portion. Yesterday, I sliced my veggie burger into strips and rolled it up in a small whole wheat tortilla with salsa and light sour cream. I love veggie burgers that way. You could use some low-carb tortillas that are high in protein and fiber. Maybe roll your grilled chicken salad in one occasionally - chicken ranch wrap... chicken caesar wrap.... ooh! or turkey bacon BLT wrap. :-) Maybe get in some eggs and fruit, or protein pancakes, or cereal and a protein shake in the morning. I like Kashi GoLean waffles. Two of them have 33g of carbs, 6g of fiber and 8g of protein. I usually eat both of them with sugar free syrup and eggs or a shake. For a smaller portion, you could have just one and top it with cottage cheese and strawberries and splenda. Might be really good if you blended the cottage cheese smooth and creamy. Dang, I'm hungry now... On Mon, 20 Dec 2004 15:47:26 -0000, kikboxxxr <no_reply > wrote: > > > I'm getting bored with my food Not suprising, I've been eating the > same thing for 1.5 year now. Guest guest
First of all, get the " eating for life " book, its a great companion to BFL, and I would almost call it " essential " to the program. Don't beat yourself up over working out, the bottom line is, if you're sticking to around 1300 calories, and NOT working out, you shouldn't be gaining any weight. Once you start lifting and doing cardio again, the weight will/must come off. Calories cannot be created out of nothing. Note, though, that counting calories isn't exactly BFL (Bill talks about portion size instead), but I find it helpful to know, if you're having any issues losing/gaining weight. That's my two cents. Anyone else? -ryan > > I'm getting bored with my food Not suprising, I've been eating the > same thing for 1.5 year now. This is my day: > Do you have the EFL Book? It's a great source. We make chicken and brown rice a lot. Also I'm addicted to mashed potatoes lately and " potato patties " (leftover mashed potatoes with a bit of eggbeaters, cooked with PAM) and eggs or turkey bacon. Turkey bacon, string cheese, oatmeal Colleen
