Dear Mr. Bruyns:

I am opposed to the current proposed fee reductions in the "medicine" service category.

In addition to the injured workers that I treat this proposed reduction will impact the

fees that are also charged to patients that have been involved in a motor vehicle accident.

I am a Chiropractic Physician and also a small business owner in Oregon. As such I have an

overhead and budgetary needs to maintain my current office and level of staffing. These

proposed fee reductions that target the adjustment CPT codes (98940-98943) if passed,

would alter my ability to care for my patients with the same level

of evaluaton and managment and the office proficiency that they have come to know.

Please reconsider the reduction in the medicine category from $75.04 to $70.00 but rather

I propose an increase in the conversion factor to $80.00.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
