Guest guest
You bet I was good Noreen. We're like twins in so many ways, so I know you understand how great it feels not to have given in. I felt kind of foolish making the request, but the added accountability made it easy NOT to cheat. I don't work again until Thursday night. Don't forget to ask me again on Friday. Clyons~ I saw your message of support when I got home from work at 1AM, tired and hungry. Thanks for caring and taking the time to post it. It made a difference in what I chose to have as a snack. Skwigg~ Thank you for the link to the " desserts " I've got to try those cookies :-} Until then, half a banana and half a cup of lowfat cottage cheese is a much better solution than junk food. Suggestion is truly appreciated. My calorie level seems a lot higher than what I've read about this morning. I shoot for an average of 1550 35%P, 45% C., 20% fat. But,as we've all agreed, everyone is different. In the past, this was a number that seemed to work 'miracles'. Good luck to all of us. The enthusiasm around here is amazing. Guest guest
Hey you're welcome! I know how tough it can be. I went to a friend's house armed with oatmeal and protein powder and when I got there they had already ordered pizza! Yikes! Somehow I skipped it and feel much much better about myself than I would have had I eaten it.... In response to your calorie concern, I just wanted to say that everyone needs a different amount of calories depending on tons of factors including how much muscle mass you have and how active your days are. I eat an average of 1750 calories a day and have had no problem making progress (as long as I stick to that...) so don't worry if you need to eat more calories in order to make progress and not starve to death. > > You bet I was good Noreen.
