Ok, not one to toot my own horn -- but I had to share this with all

of you.

Yesterday, went to the gym to get my Upper Body workout in. I have

been increasing my weights each week and upping the intensity. BUT!

I haven't had the burn in a week or two ...

So, I upped my weights on the Hammer Strength Shoulder Press to a

weight I have never done before for my 6 reps. I went to do one; and

it dropped right down. Now, the machine is right in front of the

mirror. I literally talked to myself in the mirror, calling myself a

wuss stating I could do this, why was I being so weak, etc...

Outloud mind you!!

I then, after my little pep talk, proceeded to do the 6 reps without

a problem! I was sooooooo excited!! I got over that mental barrier

that I couldn't do something...

Even though, some peeps thought I was nuts it was worth it!!!

and boy are my shoulders sore today!!!!!!
