How does the fixation strength of certain basenote tinctures compare

with the fixation strength of the same material in their oil,

resinoid or absolute forms? For example, if one were making the

following tinctures using 96% Alcohol, Arctander's tincture

percentages and filtering, how would the fixation rate of the same

weight of the tincture compare to the respective material's other

forms?

1 gram Vanilla tincture 10% versus 1 gram Vanilla absolute

1 gram Olibanum tincture 20% versus 1 gram Olibanum resinoid or 1

gram Olibanum oil

1 gram Labdanum tincture 20% versus 1 gram Labdanum absolute

1 gram Balsam Tolu tincture 20% versus 1 gram Balsam Tolu oil

1 gram Galbanum tincture 20% versus 1 gram Galbanum resinoid or 1

gram Galbanum CO2

Precise rates would be ideal. However, a general comparison, eg. 1

gram Vanilla absolute has 100 times the fixation of 1 gram Vanilla

tincture 10%, would be helpful.
