Guest guest
Greetings All, I'm hoping some of you oh so experienced folks can help me out or at least put my mind to ease. I'm in the NW corner of the US...where we've had all the crazy snow, ice and sub-zero temps this week. As I am sick as a dog, I didn't worry over much about the mailbox at the end of the lane. After all, there were 5 foot snow drifts to conquer and I'm only 62 inches tall. But, after a fortifying cup of blended herbal tea, I donned the ole teddy bear suit, covered myself head to toe and trundled off to check the mail. And what to my horror/surprise did I find? My EO order from essentialoils.co.za in New Zealand via London. My worry is this: these oils have been in the box at least 2 days in below freezing temps. Have I just lost a couple hundred dollars? Or might my precious Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha) and incense (Boswellia carteri) and others be ok to use? Might this exposure to these low temperatures affect the oil in any way...once they've warmed up to room temperature? Having major " eeks " here folks. Please do be kind enough to share any knowledge/experience with me. Many thanks, Vykky PS: The piper nigrum is the first thing I've been able to smell in days...it's eye-openingly wonderful!
