Is that the same as electromagnetic filters? I had one of those and

it was a pain b/c you have to wash it and then I left out for a

couple days to dry and put the cheap filter in while drying. That

was a couple years back when I didn't know my hvac etc. was

contaminated with mold. Just it being wet and spores getting on it

probably grew mold before drying. Suppose to had been a lifetime

filter. I now use the merve 11 filter.
