Guest guest
Day Scents (Sense?) Actually, it can be a great irritant to be able to smell things that others can't. Take my step daughter, for example. She has the WORST body odor and I just cringe every time she comes near me. She can't smell it and neither can her father. Ever try to hold your breath at the dinner table? And the litter boxes... I'm always yelling... " Hey, Polly missed the box... again. Can someone clean up the stench? " I'm greeted with " I don't smell anything " ... Riiggghhttt... it's someone else's cat and I get to smell it. The litter boxes are off the kitchen to boot!! Did someone mention hair spray? In the aforementioned step daughter's dirty hair? Oh my... what an odor!!! And trying to get her to bathe is as hard as it is to keep Polly's rear end in the litter box! You'd think a 14 year old who has a crush on Orlando Bloom would want to SMELL like a " Bloom " !!! Then there's the dirty laundry... wet towels.. yummm... I just love the smell of moldy wet towels. Why don't people hang them up to DRY before putting them in the laundry? No one else has any SENSE, let alone " scents " around here! Garbage? Why can't it be taken out on a timely basis? Can't anyone SMELL the garbage? Oh.. I give up!!! I guess fragrant old shrimp shells don't bother anyone else.. except maybe the cats. But.. I do have the safe haven of my perfumes and oils. I'm just learning now, but soon I will have enough fragrances stocked up in every room of the house to dispel the " nasties " that I have to put up with on a day by day basis. And my poor nose can rest in peace! Mel Heimo
