I don't actually feel skinny except in my upper torso. There's nothing like sacrificing most of your formerly normal-sized chest to the BFL gods in the name of better fitness. Thanks for checking out my photos. When did you start doing the extra cardio? > Message: 11 > Date: Mon, 08 Nov 2004 15:08:13 -0000 > From: " Laurie " <laurie@...> > Subject: Re: Challenge 2, Week 10 update > > Maggie, > You look incredible! Your extra cardio sounds like it would kill me though. FIVE more miles? :: faints :: I have to break up my 50 minutes of extra torture into 30 minutes of elliptical or bike and 20 minutes (around 2-2.5 miles) of running. > Message: 12 > Date: Mon, 8 Nov 2004 09:31:24 -0600 > From: Skwigg <skwigg@...> > Subject: Re: Challenge 2, Week 10 update > > You look amazing, Maggie! I've avoided the stepmill for the entire 22 weeks I've been doing BFL because, quite frankly, everyone I've seen on that contraption looks like they are ready to drop dead from exhaustion after 2 minutes. Thanks for the advice on gaining muscle you gave me at the beginning of this challenge. I've stuck pretty much to my C2 planned modifications based on the advice from you, Mandi, and Stasia, and the results have been great. I'm going to keep plugging away and shoot for more muscle and less fat through the holidays. Action/superhero seems like a great goal to me after 29 years as a perennially fluffy art/sci-fi/computer geek. > Message: 15 > Date: Mon, 08 Nov 2004 16:04:00 -0000 > From: " Stasia Bachrach " <s_bachrach@...> > Subject: Re: Challenge 2, Week 10 update > > It's the arms. I have a LOT of bench dips, stability ball dips, and diamond push-ups to thank for those triceps. Now I just have to get my biceps and deltoids to catch up. Those only look decent immediately after my UBWO! Maggie

Lydia: Girl, you must have a distorted view of yourself... cuz I think you look FABULOUS! I wish to GOD I had the level of determination and motivation you seem to have. Oh... and the boobs? Be glad they won't be pointing at the ground... you'll be saving a fortune on support bras, etc.!

Guest guest
Maggie - I'm still new to the list, but I think your changes are awesome! What does your C2 program look like (you'd mentioned you made some changes)? Very inspiring photos, Girl! Great Job!!! Guest guest
Yes, very skinny. But a healthy skinny! I've been doing extra cardio for my whole challenge and I am at the beginning of week 11. I'm going right into another one as my goal is to be a size 4 by next summer. I still have plenty of fat on my butt! It's rather annoying and seems to not want to go away! Oh well, gives me something to work for! > > Message: 9 > > Date: Mon, 08 Nov 2004 14:45:58 -0000 > > From: kikboxxxr > > Subject: Re: Challenge 2, Week 10 update > > > > HOLY COW!!!
