Guest guest
Helen- You may want to ask yourself why you go back to your old habits. Yes staying on the eating plan and exercising is difficult, but if you truly see yourself as a " fat " person, then outward change won't change you on the inside. I know it sounds like mushy stuff, but if you don't confront the reasons why and try to change your mental image of yourself, then its not really a complete transformation. You have to visualize and believe that you ARE a healthy, happy, fit person. Others have said it better, but just remember you need to work on the mental aspect too: visualizing your healthy self, setting goals and affirmations. -s > <dawnburfoot@y...> wrote: > > > > I know how well BFL works! Guest guest
Can I join in too? I'll even post pictures tomorrow and jump in on that one. I want the pats on the back, especially from myself.... I want to wake up in the morning feeling smaller than I did the night before - I miss that. I think what happened with me is that I found that I could eat less healthy with no immediate consequences - it took awhile for the fluff to puff back out once I allowed myself to not eat right. I got comfortable at my goal size, yet I was still not satisfied with how I looked. Looking at me now, how on earth could I not have been? Good grief.... I'll have to remember this when I get there again... When I get there again....I have to keep saying that to myself. At least I begged my mother-in-law NOT to make peanut butter balls at Christmastime this year! I promise I will check in at least weekly on the board... will someone help remind me? Maybe on a Saturday ask where I am if I haven't posted? Thanks in advance for any volunteers! in WI Re: does this happen to anyone else? Thanks ladies. I will join you in your new challenge tomorrow and post again to keep my self accountable. =)
Guest guest
Thanks, Juls! I think my worst time as far as wanting to go off the eating plan is in the afternoon when I start to get a little tired from getting up at 5am to work out. Maybe I'll try to plan a little walk at that time, either outside or in my basement on the treadmill, to pep me up. I'm looking forward to getting back into the groove and staying there... in WI Re: does this happen to anyone else? > > > > Thanks ladies.
