Guest guest
Hi Terri B, Have been Worried about you!!! I know you took a long time to decide what to do... It will all come together eventually... I'm so sorry that your cancer is back ( Are you going to have to have more radiation treatments??? Or do they think this one should do it... Are you staying where you are at or moving back near family??? That's wonderful that you have so many friends there to help you out... Glad that your Mom will be there soon to help also... You know you can keep right on talking (typing) with what ever you need too... You can always write me private if that would be better for you... Do keep us updated as I do worry!!! ((( Cancer Free Hugs ))) Helen Just wanted to check in with everyone. Since last posting...and sorry for not posting..a lot of changes in my life. I have seperated from my husband of 11 years and filed for divorce. (After moving from one state to another for HIS job). Also, just last Friday found out after my yearly thyroid scan that I am having a recurrance of the cancer. So, yesterday went in and got nuked with high dosage radiation again. Had to make arrangements for the care of my 6 year old as he cannot be here for 7 days. Thankfully, my church family stepped in ( I don't have family family nearby) and they are taking care of for me..Praise the Lord..that is one less worry.) Things look optomistic as for the prognosis..just a little bump in the road. In the meantime, I'm bored, have very little voice, (although since I'm here by myself, don't really need one do I?), miss my little one and just want to get it all over with. My mom will be here on Saturday so that will help. Planning on getting a lot of needlework done, some reading and some naps. Although the nap part might be hard. Someone will be calling me from my church at 10 and 3, my mom at noon, another friend from church when she gets off work, my daughter sometime during the day......so will have to take my naps between phone calls. It is however, good to know that there are enough people who care. Before making the decision to divorce, I had really isolated myself because of the situation. Now... Anyway, enough about me, how are you all doing? Terri B
