Do you have the EFL book? There are some great recipes. Also if you

go to the groups main page, Maggie (I think) posted a few

egg/hash brown casserole dishes you can make.

Also remember you can eat anything for breakfast. One of my

favorites is a White Turkey Chili (posted in the recipes files here

under BFL dinners) for breakfast.

And another great source of recipes is Maggie again <G>. Go to the

groups main page, files section and look for

In2Nutrition_Recipes_PDF_All.pdf

Hmm...BFL breakfasts I've had:

- Whey pancakes with fruit and SF syrup

- CC pancakes with fruit and SF syrup (can't taste the CC, I swear!)

- Fruit and French toast made with egg whites

- Various fresh fruit and protein smoothies and shakes, not the packaged stuff

- Fruit and protein crepes

- Microwave protein muffins (banana nut, mixed berry, carrot,

blueberry vanilla, cinnamon raisin)

- Fruit with chocolate protein dip

- Sara Lake's chocolate cake

- Cottage cheese and oatmeal patties (can't taste the CC in these,

either) with salsa

- Egg whites and veggies in a WW pita

Blend all together in a blender until smooth. Drop 1/2 cupfuls of

batter onto a griddle or skillet that was sprayed with butter

flavored cooking spray. Cook over med. heat until dry appearance

around edges and bubbles start to form in batter. Flip the pancake

over and cook the other side until golden. Continue with the rest of

the batter. Spray each pancake with a squirt or two of " I Can't

Believe It's Not Butter " spray and serve with sugar free syrup.

a,

Like Colleen said, a lot of good recipes are in the IN2nutrition file

I posted to the group's Files area:

(Crepes, French toast, fruit dip, egg white pocket, lots of shakes and

smoothies--and a total of 175 meals for every other time of the day,

too. :) The recipes are all 200-270 calories on average, with 20-25

g carb and protein and around 6 g of fat or less. Reduce the fat

ingredient by half if you want a perfect BFL ratio. I set up the

calories and nutrient amounts to work for most women trying to lose

weight on BFL; if you plan to feed your dh, dbf, or any other male

acquaintance with 'em, let me know and I'll post the men's version.)

/files/In2Nutrition_R\

ecipes_PDF_All.pdf

You'll probably have to login to your account to get to it.

The CC patties, whey pancakes, chocolate cake, and muffins are posted

to my blog's recipe area:

http://maggiewang.com/index.php?cat=6

Thanks to the original posters for the recipes in the blog!

THANK YOU, Maggie!

Those are great! I will take your word on the Cottage Cheese

Pancakes!

What are the protein muffins, where can I get them? Do you make them?

,

No problem. I hope you can use some of the recipes. I've been using

them for almost all of my cooked meals even though I own EFL and the

Stella's Kitchen cookbooks. I like knowing that anything I pick from

the file is a perfect BFL meal without having to stress over portion

sizes or trying to figure out how to make yet another 3 oz chicken

breast palatable. ;)

Besides, there's a recipe in there for a yummy cinnamon raisin muffin

that's the size of a Big Mac! That alone makes it worthwhile. (Lots

of other muffin combos in there, too.)
