New Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International invite

I am a member of an Honour Society for nurses in Wales, a new Chapter of Sigma

Theta Tau

International, which is raising the profile of nurses who have achieved to an

international level,

and promoting international collaboration between nurses.

To celebrate the new Charter there is a celebratory and fund raising dinner at

De Courceys

Restaurant, Pentyrch, Cardiff, on Friday 8th February 2008. Members and

non-members are invited to

join the celebration and help raise funds for nurses to benefit from membership.

The new Chapter is a joint enterprise between Swansea University and Cardiff

University, but nurses

from all over Wales and the UK are invited to apply for membership. See

The new Chapter President is Professor Joy Merrell of Swansea University, and

the Vice-President is

Emeritus Professor Ann Tucker of Cardiff University. Emeritus Professor Dame

June has been a

member of STTI for more than a decade.

The President of Sigma Theta Tau International Dr Carol Huston will be

officiating at the

Chartering Ceremony which will be held in Swansea on 4th April 2008.
