Today I am wearing a sample of Mandy Aftel's Boronia

solid and it is so delicious! That beautiful freesia

note is really coming through right now.

Now if I only had the $220 needed to buy more of this

perfume...

Also, I am going to work on my grassy accords later.

Taking Anya's advice and working with champaca,

oakmoss, patchouli, and ambergris (already tried some

experiments with this but haven't got it right yet).

I also think my galbanum C02 has some potential and

gingergrass, maybe... I don't know yet. The fresh cut

grass smell still eludes me.

I also have a blend I made for my husband (nicknamed

" Sexy Man " lol) that I want to rework with a little

less lime. This one has cedar, lime, nutmeg, orange

flower, rose, tobacco, vanilla, and some others I

can't remember until I look at my notes. He really

likes this one (which is unusual for him) but I think

it's just a little too tangy.
