Guest guest
I am not sure I am understanding your question correctly but if you are asking weather or not it is " safe " to keep going on challenges than I don't think you are understanding the BFL program. The eating + workout plan is a way to maintain both your weight and health for life. ....As someone who followed it for a year, had amazing results and then stopped for a year and saw all the weight, flab etc come back and had to start over...I recommend to try to stay with the eating and workout plan as a way of life...never consider stopping. heather
Guest guest
Just to give another p.o.v, I designated a week off in between, where I made it a point to not do BFL workouts as prescribed, but some sort of other " fun " physical activity, as a reward for reaching my goals... (for me it was spinning classes, yoga....I even tried a step class, but that one didn't work out.) There was no stress, of whether it was HIIT, or hitting my tens or getting a burn, just stuff I wanted to try out... I tried to to eat " quasi-bfl " style.like, most of my meals were bfl, but I allowed myself to indulge in whatever I wanted within reason, but not an all-out freeday extravaganza. For example, I'd have mayo on my sandwich, or I'd have sushi for dinner. But not really junky stuff, I'm used to sunday being my junk day. It also helped me in weeks 11 and 12 to push myself harder, because I could see the finish line. The week off was like a reward and during that time, I planned my next challenge. If I hadn't planned it right away, I could definately see where I might not have gotten back to my routine, because if I don't plan, I pretty much don't do anything! So just like our " free day " , I planned a " free week " , as a reward. This time around though, my challenge ends in early december, so I think I'll add on another 2 weeks, so that the holidays are encapsulated in my free reward week. There's nothing worse than trying to diet during xmas and new year's,...nothin' but failure waitin' down that road..... So if you don't want to do challenges back to back, I think that's okay, you can take a break, so that you don't burn out on it, but I would definately PLAN exactly when you are starting the next one. -jojo ....I recommend to try to > stay with the eating and workout plan as a way of life...never > consider stopping. > > heather
Guest guest
-Hi, Chantal, I think it's fine to jump from challenge to challenge. That way, you're keeping up your momentum. Maybe make sure you have a free day or free meal, whatever works for you, and make sure to take pix and measurements, so you can keep track of your progress. I didn't take a break between my 1st and 2nd challenge. I''ve been holding now for about 3 weeks because I radically changed my diet. I'm starting Challenge 3 on Friday (I know that's weird, most people start on Mondays, but this Friday will be a perfect day for me.) let us know how you're doing. Guest guest
You can do whatever you want! If you will REQUIRE more than one challenge to meet your goals then definately go right into another one. Some people take a week off in between. But remember this is BODY FOR LIFE (not body for 12-weeks) so in essence, you'll always be in a challenge!! > > > > Can you go from one challenge right into another...if you are > doing > > it just for yourself??
