Guest guest
Saturday morning (didn't get home from work till 10pm last night) and STILL got up this morning at 7 for some treadmill HIIT action...!! (and 20 minutes on the elliptical trainer) YAY me! Then I wasn't too sure how " effective " my current HIIT was workin....so I tried someone else's HIIT routine (this person has had STELLAR results) and wow...it was great...by the last set and the NINE I was hauling serious a**!! HIIT cardio–treadmill run Warm up- 4 mph / 0% incline / 7 minutes HIIT - 4.5, 6, 7, and 8 mph / 0% incline / 4 sets Max - 9 mph / 0% incline / 1 minute Cooldown - 4.0 mph / 0% incline / 5 minutes I originally though 4.5 was too slow of a speed to use in your sets for HIIT...but I used to start at 6 and onloy increase by .5 I liked this one MUCH better cause when I got to 8mph I was booking and the thought of getting back to 4.5 for a quick recovery pushed me even harder----Then like I said...when I got to 9mph...wowza! Anyway---I am sooo proud I got today's workout outta the way---heck i might even do a little walk or run later...but either way, I got my HIIT done today! Got a hair appt at 10...color, cut for first time in umm, 5 months UGH---then I gotta clean clean clean all day cause mom's flying in next weekend!!
