Call the radiologist where you would refer

to and discuss it with them they can help you decide.

Subject: right

study for concussion

My new patient was T-boned at 40 MPH onto the driver's

side (where she was). She has an obvious head injury with dizziness,

unsteadiness, flunked all the field sobriety tests. Would an MRI be better than

a CT. I don't think she has a fracture.

CT for concussion, in addition, if you suspect transverse ligament instability then digital motion x-ray is warranted in lateral flexion. Shane E. Espinoza, D.C., C.C.S.P.®, CKTPCertified Chiropractic Sports Physician®

Hi Ann

In addition to the imaging, use the exam forms we gave you in class and check

the reflexes

in the mouth.

You will find the skull is " out of alignment " and need correcting.

We had a similar case in Jan. Is doing great now.
