Full Moon in Cancer - The Winter Wolf Moon

Hi Everyone:

This is where my moon rests in my chart, close to Leo, yet truly

Cancer. I'll have to go out in the garden tonight and see what's

blooming. I saw the very pretty Brunsfelsia nitida in full bloom by

the front door, on the path, so out I'll go with a flashlight, camera

and a couple of bowls to collect flowers for tincturing. How fertile

and fragrant my garden is! This is a great night for blending, and

I'll stay up late and meditate and create and accord or two, can't

waste this watery yin energy.

It's known as the Winter Wolf moon, when the prowling wolf is highly

visible in the leafless forests, or when it moves over plains and

fields. Since my eyes can turn yellow like a wolf, I relate to the

name a lot, but it's been years since I've prowled. ;-)

Some of you already know I'm pulling away my day-to-day participation

in the group, and it's hard for a Moon in Cancer list mom to pull

away. I've nurtured this group every day, but it's gotten so big it's

taking too much time, so I'm handing over the reins to the great

mods, Patty, Ruth, Liz, and our newbie, . I need time for

my company, the Guild, and my book, and I'm really looking forward to

2007 being a productive year for me where they're concerned.

So I'm asking please be kind and try to hold back on the private

emails to me, unless it's an emergency, and feel free to ask any of

the mods for help with group stuff.

Big hugs and have fun learning, networking, and blending -- that's
