Hello everyone,

I'm & I've just joined. I live in Brisbane Australia and am

just starting to venture into the world of perfume. My interest in

natural perfume is an extension of my other activities in life. I

make natural, vegan skin care which is doing really well and I am

planning on including a perfume range. Since the basis of my company

is 1.natural & 2.vegan, I feel I'm in the right place.

I think the nose is an amazing, albeit weird, thing. I have only just

come to realise how sensitive my sense of smell is, I'm used to taking

notice of visual stimulation, but I've found I can smell things that

others can't (usually something that is going off!!) So, now I need

to refine it.

With perfume I never wear the fake stuff. Its very rare for me to

find a perfume that I like the smell of. Most of them tend to smell

like talc powder once I put them on, so I stay away. I do want to

explore a natural perfume for myself at the very least! Does anybody

else have this problem?

Please take it as written that in the world of perfume, I am a

complete novice! If anybody can point me in the direction of a good,

beginner's basic book, I would appreciate it very much.

Thanks for reading!
