Epidendrum vulerum.............................scent of carnations (morning). Maxillaria aromatica ................. scent of cinnamon. Odontoglossum citrosum .............. scent of roses Odontoglossum gloriosum ................. scent of the hawthorn hedge Orchis sambricina......................... scent of the elderflowers Zygopetalum machayi..................scent of the hyacinth (during sunshine) He also goes on to recommend Mousse de chene (Oakmoss) as the decidedly the best fixative for orchid perfumes.....
