Unless it’s a tiny tiny apple, I use ½ as a serving. Same for a banana. M. (50 pounds down, 20 to go) _____
Guest guest
I noticed that too, when I once weighed my apple slices, but now I just eat the whole apple no matter what size it is. I figure that there is so much fiber in an apple and water too, that there is just no way that I'm going to get fat by eating too much apple in my servings..... There are so many other foods that are going to do so much harm by not eating the right serving size, but apples probably aren't one of them.... But I understand when you are using fitday, you try and learn and know just exactly what you are consuming. So, I get what you are saying.... jojo > > Hi guys, > > I just wanted to give everyone about portions of apples. Guest guest
Yea, like you don't want to choose a potato that is the size of your foot. Get ones that are only slightly larger than a computer mouse. Ditto sweet potatoes of which there are some behemoths out there. Guest guest
This is why my little kitchen scale has been so indispensible! But a computer mouse is a great guide! Thanks Stasia! > > Yea, like you don't want to choose a potato that is the size of your > foot.
