Guest guest
>>>It was supposed to premier in the US on Dec. 27th, but I think that was limited. I have no idea when the film opens everywhere. Anybody know?<<< Dec 27th was the opening date but the release is very limited. I live in Los Angeles and it is playing here at one theater only. I'm going to the 5 o'clock showing today, and will report on my thoughts. --Kim

In only one theater that I know of for sure, maybe another one. I've heard mixed reviews about it. I saw a movie called " Pan's Labyrinth " two days ago and saw both the preview and the movie posters at the theater. My friend looked kind of freaked out about it, when he was " enflueraging " one of the women. I had no clue that it was that gruesome myself. I'm going to check it out. I went to see it on 27th, its beautiful to watch and Ben Wishaw in the lead is very good - one feels almost sympathetic to him in the movie whereas in the book he is more repellent. IMO nothing could compare to the book ..

Fantantastical but brutal in parts, still recommend it but might have to avert your eyes if you are squeamish. The film definitely creates a lot of food for thought and discussion! Local cinemas in Brecon and Wyeside in Builth have no mention of the movie for the coming next .....ditto for Hereford disappointing.... sigh guess it is the journey to Newport pour moi. Hi All, Very disappointing that at the moment even if you live close to the " major " metropolis of Seattle, you have to drive to Boise, ID to see it in our part of the states. I'll keep watching for it to appear closer to home. Actually, Vancouver, BC would be closer to me than Boise; I so wished I could have broken free to go on the night Ayalya frivolved so wonderfully lavish. So, Janita, I'll share the pour moi, s'il vous plait, sob, sob. :-( :-( :-( Happy Belated New Year to All . . . I seem to be buried with the latent unfinished tasks of 2006. Major construction on our building that keeps getting tormented/delayed with storms, power outages, and plagues upon the construction crew and SB staff. As I speak, there are more floods in the near offing here in WA. We move very slowly into the new year here at Panther Lake. I guess my lesson for this year is patience and perhaps putting creative juices to a perfume themed around abundant water.
