It is hard to lose a cherished pet they become so much like a member of our family. It does sound like you have given him a good life if it is his time to go. Sending a puppy prayer your way. Guest guest
OH yuck Anne; Please keep that white stuff by you ok???LOL;sTAY WELL & SAFE HUGS DORT -- Re: Anne_______ I'm Here :o/ (Ranting) Oh Yes Helen it is dreadful about the grandparents law, in NYC I have heard of little children left with their parents and being killed by these animals instead of removing them immediately the problem of abuse is noted- damned laws are unjust. Very unjust. We got the lake machine yesterday, cold NW winds came in and as usual picked uo moisture from the lakes mostly Oneida and Ontario, result is about 6 " on the ground, the plows were out during the night, so people could get to work safely The road outside is completely free of snow at this point, they put something on early in season which melts snow as soon as the sun comes up, not sand until the snow gets deeper. He! He! now my neighbors can be laughed at, they considered me stupid when I put up the snow fence last week, not so stupid! I also have the snow blower in good rig ready to go when needed, I feel that the winter will be harsh, if the summer was, why not the winter? I don't think some of them even bother to do these things until the ground is frozen hard, or after Christmas they suddenly find the blower ain't what she should be!!!! Funny how these lake machines are the first to herald the start of cold weather, the ocy air crosses the warmer water and picks up sometimes very heavy snows, upstate in Tug Hill, 3' has been known to fall in a few hours. I am fine except I cheated on my diet a couple of times, the first one I got away with, the second I felt the symptoms coming on, grabbed a spoonful of Jam, got supper at once and everything became normal very fast! Guest guest
Thankyou , Today the vet calls me, about things, Sammy either gets to come home for a few days or he must be operated on depending on if the gallbladder is smaller and cleaning out, if it is a widespread cancer upon an exploratory, then it would be so selfish of me to let him suffer, the vets would not allow it, already told me that. Yesterday he was feeling much better, sitting up and very cognisant of everything going around, good sign, he was a little limp guy when I took him in and jaundice was coming out in is eyes, very very sick dog. Guest guest
Thanks Carol for the kind concern, the vet contacted me this morning and Sammy's GB is getting a little less swollen, a blood test shows less bilorubin,so this is good. He will come home for the weekend if he does not have a turn around by 5 pm today. I am so glad of this but it might be temporary, there is no clue as to why this happened Anne
