So far, so good. Not sure about my measurements. We had workers in

the bathroom last Friday and I put my tape measure

somewhere " safe " ..now I can't remember where that was. But my pants

are so loose today!!

Yesterday's eats:

Eggs, mashed potatoes

Turkey bacon, string cheese, oatmeal

Turkey, mashed potoates

Eggs, mashed potoates (yep AGAIN...I made too much and am trying to

finish them off!)

Chicken, brown rice, tomatoes

Eggs, mashed potatoes.

Kind of a high starch day for me, but I'm still feeling pretty good.

Had a nice cardio workout at lunch too!

Water 80 oz.

mmmmm, potatoes! I've had to cut back on the taters...I was getting

too addicted. Although, they're not all bad, are they? Your menu

looked " stick to your ribs " good! With that kind of food you cannot

help but be satisfied! You can't be going wrong if the pants-o-meter

is telling you you're losing!

My husband likes to have something sweet at night too, but he is a

mortgage broker so he can't afford to do that! I cannot get him to

the gym, but I refuse to nag. When his shoes disappear, he'll want

to go with me...

Take care!

Potatoes have gotten the same kind of bad press that pasta has.

There is nothing unholy about a baked white potato. Top with some

Molly McButter and you have a great carb portion. Eat the skin. It's

the potatoes slathered with au gratin cheese that make you fat, and

mashed potatoes mixed with fat and carbs of unknown origin.

Thanks Stasia! You're right! I've been frying my potatoes in the

very benign Pam spray with onions, red and yellow peppers! Love them!

I also enjoy a plain baked potato with a couple of spritzes from

my " I can't believe it's not butter " spray.

PERFECT...and oh about eating the skin...I'm too lazy to peel them

before I boil them to mash them :)
