Just an FYI, Las Vegas has one of the higher rates of mold infested

buildings around. Why, because of the fast track that buildings are going up

there

and how they are being built. Because of this a Los Angeles based

environmental company I know opened an office there a few years ago and they

said they

cannot keep up with all the calls to test all the mold infested homes there.

Needless to say, Las Vegas has a very bad problem with mold infested buildings.

Seeing how the bulders/contractors were *building* where I live, it's no

wonder the new homes have mold problems.

Because if the prior increased growth, they start framing a house, then

WEEKS later they start with other aspects as they are *starting* other

jobs and neglecting the prior ones. There is not even contractors to keep

up and the homes are left barren to fight the elements. I know 1st hand

my neighbor who is an ARCHITECT and HAS connections it took them over 8

months to build his home. We watched day by day the NON progress, the

rain upon the framing etc.

The casinos at least have metal framing and the newer larger condo/apt

developments ar using metal/steel framing. Whether that is for mold

issues, cost or whatever.

Mold is direclty caused by construction problems as cited above.
