Guest guest
, My parents needed to move to a drier climate because they had arthritis. They feel much better now. I suggest Las Vegas. Cost of living used to be much cheaper. Jobs pay less to accomodate for that. Check it out. Guest guest
I live in Vegas and what you stated used to be true. Now, with the influx of people approx 4,000/mo its a zoo, from inadequate freeways, schools etc. Taxes used to be NIL now they are going up each year. I think last year or so they were restrciting building becasue of the waer shortage potential that therefore created HIGHER inflated values for housing. Then the marekt so to speak crashed and people who bought spec homes in order to sell are stuck wtih homes that are valued uner what they paid for them. APartements were being converted into condo and that of course caused a dramatic increase in rent as now there were more teneants than apts. Then you have the inceased number of homes with pools that has increased the ambient humidity to double digits where it used to be dried. On the whole Vegas and AZ by experiencing such a population boom decreased their effectiveness for those who required a truly drier cliamate. Now, sbout 40 or so miles outside of Vegas is a sleepy little community called Sandy Valley. LArge parcels of land alot of horse farms but more accommodating for thosw who really want the dryness of a desert. On top of that they have the only underground waer reserviour that everyone is trying to tap into to. Just a thought.
