Guest guest Posted June 3, 2006 Report Share Posted June 3, 2006 WASHINGTON, May 22--Amid contentious debate over its version of the Interior Appropriations Bill, the House of Representatives took an important stand for the environment and the public's right to know about toxic pollution. Last Thursday, the House voted to accept the Pallone-Solis Toxic Right-To-Know amendment that shuts down plans by the Environmental Protection Agency to reduce reporting of toxic pollution under the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) program.
