I think this is accurate if you have a light case of Candida

overgrowth. However if you system has really become overrun in a big

way, there is no territory of good bacteria to implant so something to

kill the Candida simultaneously with the good bacteria has to be use,

natural or medicinal. The agent that kills the Candida (or fungus)

clears some 'territory' that the good bacteria can implant in to start

growing.
