Guest guest
Yes, I had aching muscles and joints all over plus many other symptoms from my exposure to toxic mold. My hips and legs ached so much I was limping and even the bottoms of my feet hurt!!My hands hurt so much I could hardly squeeze toothpaste out, hold a pen to write or grip the steering wheel!! I was even told I had tennis elbow and a bad rotator cuff problrem. At night when I tried to sleep it even hurt to put my knees together & it hurt when my elbows & heels touched the mattress!!! Most of the night I spent up & down and crying a lot!! Now that I have been seeing the Dr. and on medication AND most importantly out of my workplace those symptoms are ALL GONE!! I don't think Fibromyalgia is even an illness!!! They just call it that because they don't know what is wrong with patients! Sue have aching and inflammation throughout their body, to the point where sleep doesn't seem to help? I don't wake up well rested, and I have to sleep about 10 hours per day. I'm wondering because I'm going through this lately. It sounds like " Fibermyralgia " (something my Doctor expected that I had anyway). I recently brought some contaminated things to my apartment(no actual visible mold, but they may be mycotoxin spores). I'm wondering if this could be due to toxic mold syndrome or if it could be stress induced. Thanks for any thoughts..
Guest guest
I used to feel like this. I'd recommend getting a hair analysis and urine challenge test for heavy metals. I believe there is a cause for FM and other " mystery " conditions. When I chelated from mercury poisoning this horrible " never rested " feeling went away slowly and I wake up 90% of days well rested and ready for the day ahead now. YMMV as I'm sure there are many causes for this fatigue. Guest guest
Oh yes, I have aches that migrate all over my body. Sometimes my neck, shoulders, arms, hands, ankles and feet ache and I have numbness and tingling in my arms. A couple hours later it might be down to a spot on my foot and one hand... later in the day it could be settled in my neck and shoulders. I often have a very tender, sore area in the middle of my chest also. Most nights I don't sleep well. Usually by Thursday and Friday I walk like a 90-year old. I haven't been able to wear a normal bra in years. Within an hour the pain in the upper half of my body is debilitating. I've asked close to a dozen doctors about it and they all look at me like I'm from Pluto. I notice that when I go in to work on Monday I generally feel good. Its something I notice with gratitude because I don't feel " good " very often anymore - usually just Sundays and occasionally Saturdays if the effects of work have worn off more quickly than usual. By Tuesday I'm starting to feel punky again, Wednesday is just plain depressing, Thursday and Friday are torture and I miss a lot of work later in the week. After oh... I'd say 6 years of complaining to my doctor about the various oddball symptoms that have slowly dragged my life to a crawl, I finally threw a hissy fit in her office and suddenly the lightbulb seemed to go on over her head. She asked me if I'd ever heard of Adrenal Fatigue and proceeded to test me for it. Well hot damn, sure enough... After researching adrenal fatigue I started following the information trails to other connected conditions which led me to information on sick building syndrome and this group. My primary care doctor has admitted that she is not very familiar with sick building syndrome but she is very interested in following my progressand learning more about it . She recommended an environmental health specialist but it has taken me almost 3 months to get in to see him. My initial visit with him went quite well. He agreed that it is probably something in my work environment that has made me sensitive/allergic to all kinds of things that never used to bother me. He promised to be very thorough so he can build a complete profile in the event of later work-related litigation. I finally go in for skin and inhalent testing on the 19th. From there - from there... I guess I'll find out soon enough. I never thought I would be so HAPPY to go see a doctor. Whew! I sure know how to make a short story long.... <grin> Be well, Laurie
Guest guest
Laurie - Don't waste time waiting to specialists who don't have a clue about a biotoxic illness symptom, which this is a classic one. Get to a doctor who practices the Shoemaker Protocol or go see Dr. Shoemaker yourself. I went to several various experts and got " gee, I've never heard of that " . Until you get the Shoemaker Protocol blood tests done, you'll be wasting time and getting worse. Get a copy of his book Mold Warrior and you can read all about it... --- In , " Laurie " <cadillac_street@...> wrote: > > Oh yes, I have aches that migrate all over my body.
