Guest guest
I too have experienced itchy skin when eating certain foods that are not good for me... usually after breaking down for Taco Bell on rare occasion for example, or eating too much dairy. It clears right up a day or two later when those foods are avoided. It makes sense since the liver is the detox organ that an overburden on it would inflame it. The skin probably suffers since it is the biggest organ in the body. Lourdes " Sal " Salvador, salvadorlourdes@... I just read this weekend, that in general itchy skin can be caused by liver problems or inflamation.
Guest guest
Hello barb1283@..., In reference to your comment: I read that if liver is overwhelmed with 'things to do' (and I know what that is like!), it's stops doing a good job and leaves things in the blood that normally it would filter out, toxins, bile salts, etc, and these things in the blood cause itching. ****Not only that Barb but if you have a poor digestive system and the liver is not able to do its job, some of those toxins can back into the liver......if you don't have at least a couple of good bowel movements daily, it can lay in the colon and ferment for weeks. *******I use a product called HOMOZON which is oxygen/magnesium, which helps me to have 3 to 4 bowel movements daily......I don't take it daily now, but I did when I was killing Lyme critters, as they tend to adhere to the colon and lay up in the liver.
