Guest guest
Hello Mold Buddies, We had 2 successful conference calls and we want to make the future conference calls successful for all who attend. I called this the Mold Buddies Support Group Conference Call because there will be an interchange of information among mold buddies. This is more of a " touchy-feely " type of conference call where people can express themselves openly and freely. What happens on the conference calls stays on the conference calls. No minutes will be taken. If you have not been on it, then you do not know what you are missing! I believe that everyone will walk away with something.. If you have any questions, please email me on the message board or send me a private email at mold_activist@.... I do welcome your comments. Thanks, Letitia s P.S. For those who want to discuss issues with goals and have an agenda, this will be another conference call. This will start in May. I have to follow up with some members who would want to have that type of conference call. MOLD BUDDIES SUPPORT GROUP (M.B.S.G.) CONFERENCE CALL GUIDELINES The mold buddies support group conference call is a weekly outreach conference call for all sickbuilding members. All comments and concerns are welcome. This is another tool that we can use to communicate with one another. What is a conference call? A conference call is a telephone call where the calling party wants to have more than one called party listen in to the audio portion of the call. The conference call may be designed to allow the called party to also talk during the call, or the call may be set up so that the called party merely listens into the call but cannot speak. Some conference calls are set up where the calling party calls the other participants and adds them to the call, and in some cases the other participants call into the conference call, either by dialing into a " conference bridge " , a specialized type of telephone that answers multiple calls, or by using a special telephone number set up for that purpose. ( Note: This is the type of conference call we will be using.) The purposes of the mold buddies support group conference call are to: a) Provide another way to communicate " verbally " with fellow mold buddies. You can speak with the other mold buddies that you have been communicating with in writing on the message board. Provide emotional support to other fellow mold buddies by sharing stories, lessons learned or by asking for prayer. Venting is allowed. c) Provide a forum where you can raise issues and concerns that you do not want to post on the message board. No question is a " stupid question " . d) Provide a forum where no one feels like they are going through this alone. You have fellow mold buddies you can talk to about your health or how you are feeling, especially when you do not have friends or family members who are supporting you.. We encourage your participation in the Mold Buddies Support Group Conference Calls. If you have been on conference calls, then you will know why we have to provide the following guidelines: 1. BE ON TIME. You can dial-in 5 minutes prior to the start of the conference call. You will have to provide your first name and your state that you are calling from upon entering the conference call.
