Guest guest
I have a 19 yo female who lives out of town and has a one year history of RUQ pain. The onset began almost one year ago, a few months after starting OC's. She had an ultrasound that showed the presence of small stones and sludge. Last night she called me with intense pain and ended up in the ER. Of course they gave her vicadin and the name of a surgeon for removal. Her blood work showed no signs of infection. She is a vegetarian and has been for a few years. Her diet is heavy on the carbohydrate side and has small amounts of vegetables. My treatment plan included: 800 IU vit. E daily, B12, folic acid daily, Unda 1,4,243,226, HMF intensive, super EFA liquid 1 TBS qd, Exercise 30 minutes 5 X week, COP daily, discuss options of a new contraceptive method, and modified anti-inflammatory diet specific for cholelithiasis. Does anyone have some advice on treatment recommendations or know of anything that helps in the presence of severe attacks while we are trying to help the body heal? I would appreciate any input you have. Thank You, Hageman, ND __________________________________________________
Guest guest
How I love to get involved in saving gall baldders. Homeopathic Cinchona officinalis 30C repeatedly every 5-10 minutes until the pain stops for attacks. Biotics Research NW has two great products called Beta TCP which is concentrated beets that thin the bile and phosphatydlecholine(concentrated lecithin) that for some is needed also to break down the bile salts. For a long time all I ever used was BetaTCP with terrific results but now I am having some problems and the phosphatydlecholine is needed. I have cleaned up many a stone filled in 6 months, and now if it is the bile salt issue also I am thinking more like a year. But you can stop the attacks with diet, basic treatment guidelines and the homeopathics. Guest guest
, I use Wild Yam tincture acutely with good success. Two dropperfuls every 15 minutes x 1hr, then q4hrs if still needed. Peppermint oil caps can also be helpful. This gal also needs Phytogreens in a big way and it has Lecithin which would be helpful as well.
