FYI

National Audit Office Report on Sure Start Children's Centres. Good on giving

models of practice for hard to reach groups such as parents of disabled children

and fathers. Also useful for evaluation methods and the conclusion that

evaluation needs to be long term.

Sure Start Children’s Centres are valued by most of the families who use them

and the families reached by children’s centres are some of the most

disadvantaged but more needs to be done to ensure they reach and support some of

the most excluded groups, according to an evaluation by the National Audit

Office.
