Vern Saboe From: @grou ps.com [mailto:] On Behalf Of Bradley K Rethwill, DCSent: Wednesday, January 06, 2010 8:52 AMOregondocsSubject: PIP Ins. Good morning, I have had a rash of PIP Ins. Companies calling for information on patients under care. I inform them that I do not give out information over the phone and request that they submit them by paper. Am I wrong? Do I have to give them the answers by phone even though I can’t verify who they are even though they identify themselves? One company said that because lack of information was given by phone, an IME is going to be scheduled. I informed them that I submitted all chart notes with the monthly billing. No response.
