Guest guest
Saturday afternoon, before the computer guy arrived for what I thought was going to be a simple upgrade and stuff, I was relaxing (there's that word again!) sampling some wine and cheese with friends at a store. They had the stuff out on tables, and I wandered over to something that looked like a Brie and took a bit. Yeow! I don't like strong cheeses. This was over the funky meter limit. The server said here's something much milder, a goat cheese. I've avoided goat cheeses in the past, as I remember them being too strong, however, I have had several mild ones, so I was game. Well, the " cheese was gamy! " and my eyes widened in recognition -- it smelled/tasted EXACTLY like the goat hair tincture I use in my perfume Pan!!! I was really shocked. It's been years since I had goat cheese, so I had no memory of the taste/smell. Pure Frontrunner (he's the goat that contributed the hair.) It was just really amazing, and it gave me a good laugh. PS I didn't buy any goat cheese, but they had a " blue cheddar " to die for! Cheddar shot through with blue veins like a good Stilton or Cabrales, all creamy and crumbly and super rich. Oh, I also got some of the ginger/mango stilton I love. Rest assured, they will NOT make it into a perfume, lol, just my stomach.
