Basically, if a patient points to where it hurts, and its near the SI it is a "positive Fortin Finger Test" for SI involvement! That's right, Dr.Fortin observed that when a patient points to the SI as to where it hurts this is DDX for SI vs other causes of "LBP". Abrahamson, you could probably observe the same phenomenon with anal fissures! Think of the fame! The Abrahamson test for anal pain!
