Dear Group, (for easier text reading see same note attached as word doc.) Does anyone use Pekana(www.bioresourceinc.com) or Vital Force Technology (www.EnergyToolsInt.com) products? I am not familiar with them but have seen them around and have been advised to try them in this case. See below for their description in my 2 yo w/ Angelman Syndrome case. They are both ND-minded MDs. Speaking of Allopaths, have you all seen the very well-done cartoon video called “The Town of Allopath”, sponsored by Dr Mercola? Here is a link to it, it really drives the point home about preventative medicine and the modern paradigm: http://www.newstarget.com/019319.htmlBTW - I finally found out the homeopath ND gave him Baryta Carb, after all, 200c. It seemed to have an affect in the first week or two. Hmmmm..... Brad West, ND Santa Cruz, Ca. NCNNM 2004 Dear Brad, I use the UNDA drops and love them, too. But the Vital Force productsare wonderfully suited and effective for children and have transformedmy

ability to help children with allergies and the autistic spectrum. Margaret DearBrad,I work with children in a holistic manner all the time. I agree with's assessment and wanted to offer some supplements that you can use(instead of Cortef or Armour) to boost the adrenals and thyroid and helpthe gut. They are called Vital Force Technologies and the website iswww.energytoolsint.com. Although last time I checked the website wasmore theoretical energetic theory, if you call the company at1800-341-7458, you can get for free CDs of all the doctor's

calls andlearn about the 40+ supplements that they have. They are trace mineralsinfused by a quantum physicist to work like "acupunture without needles"and beautifully support various organ and gland systems. There are supplements for the GI tract to help with leaky gut anddysbiosis and ones for Adrenals, Thyroid and the whole chain ofhormones. Espeically for people with chronic illnesses like CF/FM, Ifind the Hypothalamus Support or the Balance or the Chronic Adapt orChronic Immune to be invaluable. For those with chemical or heavy metal issue, D-Leucine and MercuryDetox are great.I've used these with children and adults of all ages and have found

themto be extremely well tolerated and easy to use- 5 drops in 6-8 oz ofliquid 3 times a day. Although I haven't used them with pets, there aresome vets who report wonderful results. Margaret Brad,You might want to look into the Pekana remedies available from BioResourceat <www.bioresourceinc.com>. These are some of the most incredibleremedies available anywhere. He would likely benefit from a combinationof the remedies Neu-Regen, high doses of Psy-Stabil, Dalektro N andViscum. Hi Brad -

I have used two Pekana products both personally and with patients. Their

Inflammyar cream is awesome when it comes to sore, over-exercised muscles

and also acute sprains and strains.

The other one I have used in Neu - regen. I use it for adrenal support and

all of my experience suggests that it is really potent. Sometimes I feel

like it's too strong for some patients in which case I will use Ribes nigrum

instead. Anyway, I used Neu-regen while studying for boards after I found

myself pretty burnt out and without any energy. It made a huge difference

for me. I've also used it with several burnt out and exhausted patients

with some pretty amazing results.

The remedies are different from Undas in that they include the ash of the

botanicals which is supposed to mean that the minerals in the plants are in

the remedies. That's sort of what I remember about them right now but my

memory is pretty fuzzy. B.J. Adrezin repped for them for awhile so he would

be an excellent person for you to get in touch with. I know BJ spoke once

about a kit of their remedies - one of the remedies reminded me quite a bit

of Chelidonium plex - that essentially focused on the 5 emuntories we talk

so much about in drainage ... he suggested at the time that it's a way to

open the emunctories without having to do BTGs. At the time I didn't like

that idea b/c I feel like the BTGs are essential in getting patient's to

take responsibility for their health in terms of the lifestyle choices they

make and DOING stuff rather than taking STUFF. Anyway... that's what I

know. Thought I'd pass it along. --kms
