Liz, thank you for forwarding this. I am pleased that such an august body

as the Council of Deans has recognised that the proposed replacement competences

for the third part of the register are flawed. They are clearly exasperated

at the loss of a direct entry option, as well, and appear to go further than

the Senate response, which said they were unsuitable for training health

visitors. COD seems to imply they are not suitable for community public

health nursing either. Will anyone in the Department of Health listen, do

you think?

I hope so, . Certainly they would listen if CHMS said

something wasn't workable.
