Guest guest
I think you could safely feed a couple/few a week as a special treat. They are high in fat and an inactive dog doesn't need that anymore than an inactive human. We have a young hunting dog and she is very active. Her and the hubby spend a lot of time int the field. I feed her maybe 6 or so a week in the active season, and none in the winter. I boil the yolks and they make nice little round treat. No muss no fuss. I wish I could feed her more since I, like others here, go through many egg whites a week!! Most of them go down the drain. Once in a while I make a gooey face/hair mask out of yolks, honey, and olive oil. Makes me feel like I'm doing something good for myself and the yolks :-) By the way... I'm new here, looks like I fit in to the egg white dilemna anyway. Greetings :-) Pam > > Does anyone know if it's okay to feed the yolks to a 14 year old > dog?
