A: Fruity Odor

Dear Unda practitioners,

I was just researching some issues regarding alcoholism for a client and

came across something that I believe we were discussing (not sure what

topic it was under).

One of the symptoms seen in pyroluria is a fruity or sweet odor about the

sweat or breath. The test to ascertain this is a urine test. A lab Bio

Center 316-634-7334 is one lab that measures it. This urine test measures

elevated kryptopyrroles which are a byproduct of hemoglobin

synthesis. They are naturally excreted in the urine, but have a " chemical

affinity " for attaching to and stripping body of B6 and zinc. Results in

severe stress and anxiety. Something like 40% of alcoholics have this

condition, per Joan Larson PhD in her book " Seven Weeks to Sobriety " which

is an excellent book on issues of addiction and alcoholism in

particular. She has had a huge patient base over many years on whom to

iron out her approach to issues underlying alcoholism and upon addressing

which she has phenomenal results compared to traditional talk therapy or

drying out units. [Doesn't get into the subleties of miasmatic or

temperament but brings people light years from their problem.]

Hope this is helpful.
