Elvira, I agree with open window thing. In addition, you can buy an

inexpensive furnace filter at hardware store that may fit your window

size or tape a couple together to make it fit, to filter air coming

into your home from outside, but do get the fresh air inside. As

someone here called it, the 'dillusion solution', you dillute the

toxic stale air in your home with fresh air. This made me feel almost

25% better within one day of doing this.

Even better get one window box shaped fan. Put it in one window

*sucking air out of house* in a window as far away as possible from

open window with the filter in it. The box fan will pull toxic stale

air out and pull air into the home *through* the open window with

filter on it, thus pulling in fresh filtered air. However CLOSE

windows on HUMID days!!!! You don't want to do this on humid day as

it will bring humidity into your home and can increase problems inside

your home. Find a reliable source of information as to humidity

levels in your area and check them daily. If humidity levels are over

50%, keep your windows closed, or if rain is expected :))!! If you do

this on all dry days you will get enough toxins out to greatly improve

air quality in your home.

In July and August it will be difficult or perhaps impossible, so just

get outside yourself as much as possible - take picnic lunches, etc.

Reliable sources of humidity levels would be television news, calling

the local weather forcast daily. You can buy an inexpensive outdoor

humidity gauge and attach to outside of your window, provided you have

some wood outside your window to fasten it to. Money may be limied

but the benefits of bringing fresh air in would be great.
