-Hi Fran, I have both. I'm scared to get cateracts removed too. they

told me they use a mild senative for anixity, I told them that wouldn't

be enough, but my strange reaction to med's and my fear that there

might be something more to this cateracts than they know keeps me from

getting it done. I have double vision in the other eye, have to wear

the strongest magnafier glasses to read, sometimes takes two pairs to

see small writing. please let me know if you get it removed or find out

anything, I really have a hard time seeing, but just to scared to let

anyone mess with my eyes, been misdignosed to much. right now my only

help is me and advoidence. good luck and be

careful.

I thought cataracts were something over the top of your eye, that were

removed and you saw things better. I didn't know they put something

artificial your eye as a replacement. I have terrible vision too and

sometimes wear two pair of glasses for small print also. However I

don't have cataracts. That is just my eyesight. I think poor

eyesight. Rx my doctor ends up giving me is never strong enough due

my vision being so blurry and degree of blurriness changes from day to

day. I seem to see in doctors office better than elsewhere due to

light behind the letters in a very dark room but when I go to read

book or labels, can't, even with new Rx. So I take my Rx glasses and

then put drug store ones over the topic for small print.
