Guest guest
Hi, I have never taken CSM. But I did take Sporonox, the antifungal, for about three years. When I first started, I felt worse. I had to cut it back and gradually increase. This is because of a Herxheimer Reaction. Do some, who take CSM experience this same type of initial reaction? Herxheimer (aka " detox " ) reaction is a flu-like feeling that one gets when parasites, fungi, bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens are killed in the body, by conventional or alternative means. One person who suffers chronic candida (yeast infection) and has experienced the reaction many times made the remark, " Got my typical Herx reaction: cold, dizzy, light-headed, faint, can't-really-think-straight feeling. " Others describe it as a " bone-tired feeling. " If a treatment is particularly effective, the onset of the herxheimer can begin within a couple of hours of exposure. Guest guest
My experience was a lot like s in that I was really, really sick (I was so weak I could not walk up the three flights of stairs to my apartment without taking a rest in the middle, heart pounding, I was shaking like a leaf, and I kept forgetting where I was or what I was doing. And about a zillion other things were going wrong with me) Then I started taking CSM and those issues resolved into the ones I have now, which although they are serious, are much less *overwhelming* It is clear to me that cholestyramine pretty much saved my life. I would not have had the strength to get out of my mold apartment without it. I would have had to have people (who? the people here? my friends did and still do not understand this.) intervene to GET me out, along with all my stuff, or I would have been killed by it. I think is also right to emphasize the importance of avoidance.. I am now living in another space, but I have brought a lot f posessions with me, which I tried to clean, but with varying degrees of success. I have found that even a small amount of exposure to the most contaminated of those posessions can set me back days in my recovery. I got some exposure last night, and today, I can't concentrate. I am now in dread about what this means to me.. do I need to do a further culling of my stuff.. the cost of this is astronomical to me. How do I get compensated? There is no legal framework to do this.
