Guest guest
I am an agency HV in London new to the site who has recently joined a trust with which current practice I feel very uncomfortable with. My concerns are these; There appears to be no minimum standards in relationship to Child Protection/Families of concern Routine risk assessments are not carried out and there is no tool in which to faciliate this A corporate caseload has no named accountable HV Record Keeping is at an absolute minimum, a deliderate move 4 years ago, a family card is not raised unless concerns are raised...as a risk assessment is not carried out..how can health needs be identified I would welcome views and opinions on national minimum standards, good standardised practice, whether these exist, and in an agency setting with whom does the acountability lie?
