Guest guest
I am an endomorph too. I got the hips, thighs, you name it. But I lost a LOT of weight when I walked and jogged. __________________________________________________________________________ In a message dated 8/20/2004 2:25:36 PM Eastern Daylight Time, lblantin @comcast.net writes: <<How much do you plan to lower your carb intake?>> I'm not sure. I'm probably going to have to play around with it some. Tom mentions The Zone, but that's higher in carbs than BFL. The Zone does seem to focus more on fruits & veggies so maybe that's going to be the trick for me. I definitely need to cut out all pasta and really stick to brown rice, oatmeal and yams as much as possible. Lori

Guest guest
I think everyone does this from time to time. It is part of the zig zag keep your body guessing process. You're better off instead of lowering carbs dramatically, sticking to low glycemic carbs. Stay away from white anything. Eat lots of veggies, beans, sweet potatoes, and oatmeal. No more than one whole wheat bread item a day. High fiber fruits. Another take on the idea is to only lower carbs for your last two meals. Often I won't have ANY carbs for meal 6 and sometimes very few for meal 5. Most of my carb intake is pre and post workout. I'm a mesomorph and have to do this to stay lean because I guess my metabolism isn't what it used to be in spite of the muscle mass. I, too, sit at a computer most of the day(working from home) so my workouts are my main activity. Weekends are more flexible for more strenuous additional exertion but weekdays are fairly sedentary otherwise. I have to do cardio Monday thru Friday in addition to the weightlifting because of this. As long as you have enough fuel in the form of carbs for your workouts I don't see that it will matter much if you do additional cardio.
