What exactly is whey and what makes it bothersome for people who are lactose intolerant? Is whey included in the myoplex lite shakes and does that also bother those who are LI? Guest guest
Whey is milk protein. So people who can't digest dairy sometimes have trouble with whey protein powders. Myoplex does contain some whey. I don't think the powders generally bother most people with mild lactose intolerance though. You would have to be pretty sensitive. Guest guest
> Is there a such thing as lactose free cottage cheese? --- I can't recall, but try checking at some of the specialty grocery stores or health food type stores. My ex was lactose intolerant and I remember finding lactose free yogurt for him but can't remember about the CC. Colleen
