Bikrams yoga

My wife has done Bikrams Yoga for several years. Yes, she has had a few

injuries, but when she did step class or lift class, she likewise had injuries.

I have done it several times myself and found it to be one of the hardest

workouts I have ever done. I have bilateral total knee replacements, internal

shoulder, wrist injuries, etc, none of which were caused by yoga, and found the

instructor very well trained, and she would not let me do anything that would

put me in a position to injury myself. I am a very, very competitive person and

tend to push myself too much, she stopped me in my tracks often.

The heat is exhausting, but exhilarating. If you haven't tried it, do so.

Criticizing it without trying it is like criticizing chiropractic without having

anything to base the criticism on. I now stick to the real manly exercise of

weight lifting.
