I think what you are after is the stuff of health protection units. They

are usually housed in strategic health authorities, I think. Anyway , I

have a nurse with such a brief coming to speak on a public health module.

Her name is Sue and she is a Consultant Nurse - Health Protection.

Contact no 02072204500 (north east london sector health protection unit).

There is such a being within the strategic health authority and I think in the

PCT. they also look for infection control for hospitals, surgeries etc. Ring
